Lion dance is one of the intangible cultural heritages of Hong Kong. I appear with the lion head inside a truck. The lion dance heads and lions, which are motionless, with eyes closed, are tied to my body like a baby, showing a familiar but strange posture. I sang the soprano opera song “Vocalise” written by a famous Russian classical composer and pianist Rachmaninoff. It seems as if I was singing a lullaby for a lion sleeping in my arms, or a requiem for the king of beasts who has been killed and made into fur. It is expected to construct a mixed nationality background, to create a kind of aesthetics that goes beyond space-time and worldview.
